Happy New Year To Ya
Well, well, well. This girl has taken a well-deserved break from blogging. The longer I didn’t write, the more I realized I wanted to write. But hey, the eggnog and ham and fudge and standing rib roast were all calling me. Unfortunately, the scale had the last laugh. Ugh.
We had such a busy Thanksgiving and Christmas season in our household. In fact, it was so busy that it was Christmas Eve before I realized that the kids hadn’t created this year’s masterpiece gingerbread house. Oh, they were just ecstatic when I reminded them. “I did it last year.” “You do a better job, you do it.” “Do we have to?” Ah, the sounds of the season. Whatev.
Yes, they had to do it. And they did a marvy job. Look at them being all crafty and stuff.

Team work. “You hold it.” “No, you hold it.”

They look like little angels.

This is more their natural states.

Hey, at least I got that gingerbread house built. Mom rules.
Are you still recovering from your holiday? How much coffee does it take each day to remind yourself that it really isn’t a day off from work anymore? So tired.

Kiddos went back to school this morning. Glad they can get the structure they may not know they need and that I can't seem to provide ;) Ahhh, the final phase of recovery begins. I think it takes a frantic pace at times to truly enjoy the normal day to day. I think . . .
It just gets me how your kids look so affectionate with each other. Cool. Very cool.
Heeey! I missed you and your posts. I'll be taking a break myself for a while too. Funny enough, the longer I don't write, the less I want to go back to blogging. I spend more time on Facebook than I used to instead.
The kids did a great job on the gingerbread house even if they didn't want to. LOL!
A very happy new year to you!!
Can you guys come over and build a gingerbread house for me?? I'm pathetic at that task. Your kids look great in the pics. Happy New Year Teri!

This is what I hate most about holidays. The day they end. :S And this year it happened so fast, I was back in campus on Jan 2. Bleh. :)
Happy new year to you all, that gingerbread house looks yummy. :)
Hey Teri, I did a vlog if you want to come over and "see" me. Hopefully, I don't look too tired!
Great pictures! I still feel like I'm recovering from the holidays. We took the boys back to my parents in Illinois. We all got sick. (And I mean EVERYONE got sick... my parents, 3 nephews, sister, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, both my parents. Baby boy had it before we left. Big boy had a sour stomach on the drive home.) Whew. Everyone is healthy and back to sleeping through the night. YAY!
those two are so cute! i bet they're excited to be aunts and uncles!?!?!?!
