Flashback Friday – Mommy Hairdo
Well, it has been a LONG time since I did a Flashback Friday. I was sitting here trying to figure out what I wanted to blog about when it hit me. Hey, everyone will surely be excited to see one of my older photos. Sure you will.
Yes, you will.
It was Spring 2000. Nicholas and Mackenzie each had their own snazzy point ‘n shoot cameras. They loved to walk around the house and snap away. Let me tell you, it would have been a lot cheaper if they had had digital cameras at that time. There were no affordable digital cameras for kids then. So it was always a treat to find out what the kids have captured photographically every time we opened that photo reprint envelope.
I ran across this roll of film sometime in 2006. I had no idea what was on it. Another treat. When I got the pix back, I was quite surprised to find this picture of me. I do not remember who did this to my hair. The junior stylist was obviously pleased with his/her creation because they snapped this beautiful image of moi. Oh my. I think I have every one of Mackenzie’s little butterfly clips in my hair. Gotta love kid photographers and hair dressers.

Autographs later, please. Would you like an 8x10 glossy?

LOVE it! The hair stylist must go to the same school as Scarlet because she does similar styles for me.
Cute pic! And how fun to find it years later : )
Very nice.
My boy child would just hit me in the head with the brush so I guess I should be thankful (?)
And you were certainly pale back then...add a little black eyeliner and some red lipstick and you could be a geisha.
Hahahaha! You really are the best mom ever because I always tell my kids: you touch my hair, you die!
Dude. That's hot. ;)
That is a cute look for you! LOL
I miss those days of getting pics back and being surprised by what was taken...
Can I pay for my 8X10 to be framed? LOL. I have the perfect place on my portrait wall for your cute face :)
The only photo I've ever posted of myself looked eerily just like this one!
So great! Love all the butterfly clips!
8x10 please.
I would like an 8 x 10! It could go right next to the one of my husband sporting the exact hairstyle created by our daughter when she was 6. They would make lovely bookends:)
